Weed Cutting Boats
Water Plant Ltd designs and builds its own aquatic weed control equipment and versatile boats. Our 'Avon' boats can be propelled by either auger screws or paddle wheels and may, therefore, be set up for use in narrow waterways and extensive watercourses with the propulsion method chosen to suit the water conditions.
D Cutters
Our heavy-duty D cutters are able to cut through dense weed and reed growth. This type of cutter which is often referred to as a weed cutting knife gets its title 'D cutter' from the shape of the assembly.
Our cutters are of a very strong construction with a fixed blade of wear resistant Swedish steel on the outer and two High Carbon steel blades which move back and forth on the inner side of the cutter.
Weed Rakes
A choice of our weed rakes/collectors can be used to collect floating weed as well as larger and heavier items like branches and tree trunks.
